Description | Access from Newark through Farndon to East Stoke. Turn right at the cross roads into School Lane. Approx. 100 metres on the right hand side is a gap between 2 buildings and a locked gate (combination). Track leads across the fields to the fishery. Gate MUST be kept locked as there are often cattle in the field. The upstream section is quite slow while the lower part is fairly fast and shallow. Peg spacing is approx. 30 yards with parking available behind all pegs. The stretch holds a good mix of fish including Roach and Bream as well as the usual Barbel which can show anywhere along the length. Please note that angler's dogs are not permitted at this fishery. |
