Membership Information
Federation membership is on an annual basis and runs from 1st May (or date of joining thereafter) to 31st April the following year.
Please note that membership does not auto-renew. You must apply for membership each Federation year.
Annual Federation membership:
There are 2 categories of annual Federation membership:
- Full Members must live within an 8 mile radius of Newark (see map below) and are entitled to participate in the running of the Federation in accordance with the constitution.
- Associate Members, living more than 8 miles from Newark as defined on this site, may not attend the AGM nor hold any office
nor take part in the administration of the Federation.
Associate Members are, however, permitted to take part in Federation club matches.
Annual Membership fees for the 2022-23 season are as follows:

Please note: Under 14 year olds are not required to hold membership of the Federation but must be accompanied by an adult at all times while fishing. |
Applications for membership or renewal can be made Online or by Post from 1st May each year.

Payment can be by cash, Postal Order or Cheque which should be made payable to Newark and District Piscatorial Federation.
Day and Guest tickets
In addition to annual membership of the Federation, Day and Guest tickets are available for some of our fisheries.Please note that Day and Guest tickets are not the same - see below:
- Day tickets where applicable: £5 dawn to dusk.
Day tickets can be purchased Online, from Future Fishing or on the bank.
The fisheries for which Day tickets can be purchased are as follows:
Crow Trees, River Devon, Fletchers, Power Station, Red Bridge and Weir and Capps. - Guest tickets enable a Member (Full or Associate) to fish with a friend or family member on some of our premier fisheries.
Guest tickets are available for Sheldons, East Stoke, Crankley and Winthorpe only on a "one member/one guest" basis - cost £5 dawn to dusk.
24 hour Guest tickets are available for Winthorpe only at a cost of £10.
Guest tickets must be obtained in advance either Online or from Future Fishing. They are not available to purchase on the bank.
The sponsoring Member will need to provide their current membership card (Full or Associate) when purchasing a Guest ticket from Future Fishing.
Anglers on Guest tickets must, at all times, be accompanied by the sponsoring Member who will be held fully responsible for the behaviour of their Guest.

Access to fisheries
Some venues are gated and secured with combination locks. Combination numbers, which change periodically, are sent out with season tickets and can also be obtained from the various Committee members and bailiffs.
